The Royal Canadian Geographical Society

The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, one of Canada's largest non-profit educational organizations with more than 200,000 members, was founded in 1929. The mandate of the Society "to make Canada better known to Canadians and to the world" has not changed in over 80 years. Each issue of the Society's magazine, Canadian Geographic, is read by more than 3 million Canadians.
