A walk through Stanley Park

Size of the park

At 1,000 acres, Stanley Park is the third largest urban park in Canada. Rouge Valley Park in Markham, Ont. is the largest urban park in Canada, measuring in at 11,600 acres. Regina, Sask. is home to the runner-up — Wascana Park at 2,325 acres.

Compared internationally, New York's famous Central Park spreads over 834 acres, but it does not have many of the fun activities and scenic landscapes that Stanley Park has to offer.

Just minutes from downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is close to shopping outlets, cafes, restaurants and much more. This flourishing hub offers something to meet everyone's interests.
