A walk through Stanley Park
Seawall
Venture on foot or bicycle around the six-mile paved route encircling the
park. Originally thought to be a precaution against erosion, the Seawall took
nearly six decades to construct.
Along the Seawall, you'll see cultural landmarks, such as the Kwakiut and
Haida totem poles. Continue further along the path and you'll come to the
Siwash Rock, a 15-metre basalt and sandstone pillar, which is a few feet off the
Seawall.
