A walk through Stanley Park

Flora and fauna

Throughout the 1,000-acre park, Mother Nature has left her mark with plenty of cedar, hemlock and fir trees.

Take a stroll through the Rose and Shakespeare Gardens and be sure to stop and smell the roses, which should be relatively easy as there are over 3,000 varieties. Arbour arches overflowing with roses sets the perfect fairy-tale scene.

Visit Stanley Park during the spring-time when the bright pink cherry trees, blossoming azaleas and other flora are in full bloom.
