From November 8 to 12, 2007, visitors to Whistler, British Columbia, will get an adrenaline rush off the slopes as the village's cobblestone streets are alive with epicureans on hand for Cornucopia. While the eleventh Whistler Food and Wine Celebration provides a showcase for the talents and trade secrets of leading chefs and winemakers, the event has also become a Mecca for culinary adventurers who want to sample the region's gourmet food and fine wine. More than 75 internationally recognized wineries from around the globe are on this year's schedule, which features celebrity chefs such as Rob Belcham and Julian Bond. A House Party, featuring the food of Memphis Blues Barbecue House, kicks off the mouth-watering sessions and the Crush events join more than 15 local restaurants with Cornucopia's participating wineries to provide two nights of gourmet grazing.
