Sunshine Village
Sunshine Village's top-of-the-gondola retreat is a ski run
with a view. It's long been a favourite for the international
ski crowd and the ultimate destination for kids — and with
good reason. Located on the Continental Divide, the classic Rocky
Mountain ski area serves up some of the finest high-alpine scenery
swathed in deep, natural snow that is finely manicured and drenched
in lots of sunshine. Trail down the mellow Continental Divide and
while you're taking in the scenery let your skis kick snow
into both the Atlantic and Pacific watersheds. A dedicated children's
area with its own protected slopes and magic carpet lift makes Sunshine
Village a hit with the little ones. Check the links below for more
information on Sunshine Village Ski Resort.

Sunshine Villages's site offers first-time visitors everything they need to know about
the mountain, conditions, rates and accommodations for planning a ski holiday in the Banff
region. Within each of the broad service categories, you'll find pertinent extras,
whether it's a map, virtual tour, the mountain's vital stats, hours of operation or
weather report. It's a straightforward site that answers your most pressing questions
and provides insider tips on life in the village. There's also a groovy web cam, which
is the virtual equivalent of being there.

Hats off to Parks Canada as it produces some of the most reliable, interesting,
informative and attractive web sites devoted to our natural heritage. The site for Banff
National Park of Canada is no exception and a particularly useful resource for people
travelling through the area of Canada's first national park. In addition to in-depth info
on natural and cultural history, you can now research general tourist information, such as
fees and passes and take virtual tours. Among future offerings, Parks Canada is developing
an online trip planner through a link with the Canadian Tourism Commission.
