The world's longest cross-country ski marathon
Whether you spend the night in a charming inn or a five-star hotel,
you'll ski your heart out during the day. That's the
spirit of winter camaraderie that has kept the Canadian Ski Marathon
alive and well for 30 years. What started as a makeshift 160-kilometres-long
Centennial trek through the backyards between Montréal and
Ottawa has become Canada's premier cross-country event. Mark
you calendar for February 9 to 10, 2008, when thousands of participants
from toddlers to seniors will turn out to ski the Canadian Shield's
breathtaking winter landscapes. With ten short sections, the marathon
allows participants to set their own pace and distance — in
