Canadian Geographic travels
the globe.
Oh, the places we will go…together!
Canadian Geographic encourages you to take us
along with you on your next business trip, vacation
or weekend getaway. Take a picture of yourself,
a friend or family member reading the magazine
anywhere in the world, and send it to us so we
can post it online or maybe even feature it in
the magazine! Flaunt your copy of CG in
front of the Eiffel Tower, CN Tower or Sears Tower;
get a shot of your friend reading Canadian
Geographic on the back of an elephant, horse
or sea turtle; or freeze frame while you're
flipping through CG's pages in
the Saddle Dome, Coliseum, or Sydney Opera House.
Let's make a fun scrapbook of the places
we've been together!

This way to Timbuktu... Crossing the snow-capped Atlas Mountains from Marrakesh, you enter the oasis- and kasbah-dotted landscape of the Draa Valley. The oasis town of Zagora is the last bastion before the Sahara and part of an old trade route. Natasha Palewandrem stands next to this famous sign - it is beside the Palmeries Hotel. There is still something romantic about Timbuktu and the camel trade routes that led there. The caravan magic still holds when you see this sign.... 52 days by camel...
We took our copy of Canadian Geographic with us as reading material, and it is still travelling...as we left it for the enjoyment of other travellers in Fez.
