In 1845, British explorer Sir John Franklin was sent to find the Northwest Passage
through North America's Arctic Ocean. This naval captain and his crew of
128 men never made it.
Now over 150 years and numerous search attempts later, the mystery surrounding Sir John's death and failed expedition haunt modern-day explorers and historians alike.
This May, explorer and Franklin aficionado Dave Woodman will make another attempt in a long line of Arctic searches to find one of Franklin's ships, The Terror, shedding light on a journey that has sailed through history as well as our imaginations.
Join us as we explore Franklin and his lost ships.
