Mesoamerica

Refers to the geographic area encompassing modern-day Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize and parts of Honduras. This area was populated by a variety of cultures including the Olmecs, Mayans and Aztecs, from about 1500 B.C. to A.D. 1519. Close Window
