Millennium Garden Avenue, the centrepiece of Kazakhstan’s new capital city, Astana, is crossed by an overpass designed and built by Acres International of Oakville, Ont. Seven 50-metre spans, which meet the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code, carry vehicle traffic over the avenue while still respecting the aesthetics of the area.
