Canada produces roughly 85 percent of the world’s maple syrup, and they’re pouring it on in South Korea, which imports about 80 tonnes of the sweet stuff annually. There are also sales in Qatar and Jamaica, among 30 other countries. Annual sales bring in almost $150 million worldwide.
