A dig at Jordan's Wadi ath-Thamad is revealing a neolithic village uncovered during research on the Moabites, who once controlled the region from Madaba to the south end of the Dead Sea. Fortifications may indicate a frontier between the Moabites, Israelites and Ammonites. P. M. Michèle Daviau of Wilfrid Laurier University is directing the project.
