The Geological Survey of Canada
is the only non-South American member of the
Multinational Andean Project. Funded by the Canadian
International Development Agency, the six-year
project generates maps and databases on geological
hazards to reduce the harm from earthquakes,
landslides and volcanoes when planning for land
use.
