Professional Development: A Nation Soars – Historical Geography

As part of “A Nation Soars”, two one-day teacher workshops will be offered to members of Canadian Geographic Education. Each workshop will focus on the important role that geography played in the First World War and the supporting resources that have been developed as part of the “A Nation Soars” project.

Can Geo Education is pleased to present a one-day workshop in Langley, BC on August 23, 2017. Participants will strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the pivotal role that Canadians played in the First World War, increase their suite of resources, tools and programs of both Canadian Geographic Education and the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum and become part of a network of engaged educators.
