Roger Lemoyne's work in photojournalism began with coverage of the crisis in the Horn of Africa in 1991 and his coverage of conflicts began in Bosnia in 1995. He has since documented social and humanitarian issues in dozens of countries, including Bosnia, the Middle East, and Afghanistan.

His first book, a hard look at the effects of recent wars on civilian populations, will be available in late 2004.
